Meet the Author

I'm a proud dad of five children who love a good story. I've seen firsthand how my stories can quiet a restless mind, spark wonder and imagination, create joy and laughter, and turn an ordinary evening into a memory-making-moment.

A native North Carolinian, I now live in Matthews, NC with my wife and our five children where life is full of laughter, dancing, messes, big feelings, and the type of every-day magic that makes life so sweet. Nearly every day, in one form or another, the words "Dad, can you tell me a story?" echo through our house, sometimes it's a request for an old favorite, sometimes it's a requisition for something brand new. Either way, my children are the ones who inspire me. They're my toughest critics, my most candid editors, and without question, my biggest fans.

My mission is simple: to make the world a better, more wonder-full place, one story at a time.

Why I Write

I write because stories are powerful. They can take us on journeys, inspire courage, teach us lessons, and plant seeds of truth deep within us. Stories are what memories are made of, and everyone is in an unending search for a good story. My stories have been bedtime tested within my own house for so long. I'm excited to begin sharing them with the whole world!
